I have had calls from their call center informing me of an unused vacation from 2011. I have informed them that I traveled to their Branson resort in 2008 with my EX husband and HE bought into their time share package but I did not purchase an additional package...

Perhaps you should go to the Do Not Call Registry and register the number for the call center. If Bluegreen continues to call, the FTC can fine Bluegreen.

Your title states you receive constant calls, yet your complaint states it has been 6 months since the last encounter. This appears to be inconsistent.

Lies, lies and more lies. Manipulative, deceptive !! They use good-looking old retired ladies to win unsuspecting vacationers!! That is their step 1 of fooling people into buying timeshares. They give you a few freebies and steal $1000.00's of dollars from you. I am...

They also tried to deter me from buying a timeshare for sale by owner. First of all, they can't make you will it to your kids, if they don't want it, they don't need to take it. Second of all they say, only owners can stay at their resorts, what kind of indoors do they...

I think Bluegreen has a "Right of First Refusal." This means that if you intend to sell your timeshare to another person (non-family member), you must submit the offer to Bluegreen. If Bluegreen finds your price acceptable, you must sell your timeshare to Bluegreen for the same price offered by your prospective buyer. You are still responsible for Filing Fees (about $500) and for Processing Fees (between $2,000 and $2,500 usually).

The "changed my mind" time-frame is called the "rescission period." It is different in each state. You will find information about the rescission period in the contract that you signed.

Rescission periods are anywhere from 3 days to 10 days. To rescind your contract, you must follow the instructions and write a letter to the address specified.

The important date is the postmark date, so if you you have a 5 or 7 or 10 day rescission period, you will be OK. Get out your contract and start reading.....

So i paid the $150. They weren't clear about the qualifications. So two weeks before travel the rep tells me that i didn't qualify. She ended the call with an apology, and was shocked that i made it so far through the process without being given the right info. So they got my $150, and i had to cancell everything with no redund. THEY ARE SNEAKY at best.
