Bluegreen Resorts in Rockville, Maryland - Blue green Resorts

Bluegreen Resorts say all the right things a person want to hear. But when it comes down to booking your trip. You don't get what is in the book. You don't get the dates or trips. They say no black out but i wanted to go back to NC and i was told i could not go in the months of June, July or August. They only offer three location in those months. Far to travel with children. But the book gives you a better select that you can't use. Dont be Fooled. No summer vacation pissed money gone

my husband and I went to pigeon forge in july, he bought it for 99. at bass pro I checked it out before we ever went and EVERYTHING that was posted is true.

they start u off with 20,000 points for $30,000. 16.99% intrest are they kidding me we kept them going back and forth after they check the "inventory" give me a break got all the way down to 9,000 points for $1,000. It was kinda fun to watch knowing we where NEVER going to do it.. had a few hours to waste while we waiting for friends.

the other thing when we booked we couldn't do the Sun-thur.

so we did fri-sun and had to pay an extra 10.00 per day 30.00 fri, sat, sun, when in fact you're really only there fri& sat night check out sun 10am. STAY AWAY!!!

You are not a Blue Green owner. The program you bought does not allow you to visit some resorts during those months, since the are reserved for owners.

All of this was explained to you and you said you understood.Check the recording you agreed to. You also signed that you understood these dates were for ouners right next to the paragraph that you read which explains it.

You agreed to things you did not understand when you should have asked questions.

WOW, is it really the hospitality industry's responsibility to spell everything out for all the tourists who leave their brains at home while on vacation? NO it's not...

Think about it. You and your family wanted to visit THE SOUTH, near Myrtle Beach, In the MIDDLE of the summer between Bike week and July 4th, and YOU Can't GET why it would be impossible... OH my word, how funny... Nobody's ripping your family off, and NO Timeshare company has Blackout dates, but that doesn't mean you don't have to use your head in planning.

That's like being pissed you can't visit the keys in August, for the week of the 3rd in the middle of a tropical storm...

You couldn't with anyone because to transfer you would mean risking all profit and lets keep in mind that any business out there is set up to make money... I would suggest you stay at home and work on selling your Timeshare with the help of RCI, there are plenty of buyers out there willing to pay your discounted price instead of the current rates...

Bluegreen Resorts in Phoenix, Arizona - Could not attend the meeting and could not get help from any staff to resolve problem

My wife did not bring the major credit card with her so we could not hear the presentation. Even after we offered to go online and pull up our amex account to show them that we qualify they said we cant do that because the paper work said that we had to bring it with us. So i pulled out the fine print to show her that it only said we had to have one. not that we had to show them. So they played back the recording of my wife on the phone before the trip. and they said "do you have a major credit card not associated with your bank account". then she got on the phone with me and said did you hear that. I said yes and we do have one in fact we have two. But it did not say we had to bring it to check in. So she said that have means in hand. So I said I have a wife but she is not here with me just like I have a card that is not here with me right now. And than she said call customer service who also did not offer any help. So here I sit pissed off waiting for charges to show up on the card that we supposedly don't have.

My husband and young son were innocently shopping at our local Bass Pro near our home when approached by a sales person that talked my husband into taking a $600 4 day vacation at a beautiful location just down the road from Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, MO. Our two story 5 bedroom 4 bath accommodations were amazing.

We took another family with us that split the cost making the accommodations only $300 per family. He had agreed to a 90 minute presentation that turned into 5 miserable hours. My husband and I purchased 18,000 points from Bluegreen Resorts in June of 2009. We were subjected to extremely high pressure sales tactics and what we later discovered were all lies.

We are extremely sorry we ever heard the name Bluegreen. Once you sign the contract it is truly for life unless you want your credit ruined. The availability is so limited it is useless to even own this timeshare. We feel so foolish for allowing ourselves to throw away hard earned money that should have been spent for our children's college educations.

Now we own something that is worthless even though we were promised a great investment.

I kn ow there are so many others out there just as disgusted with Bluegeen as we are. I hope they will someday be stopped from ruining peoples lives.

Bluegreen Resorts in Washington, District Of Columbia - More hassle after meeting - want to charge my credit card for something I did not ask for.

Received letter stating I have a reservation (which I did not make) for 7/11/2010 and If I if I did not show up my credit card would be charged for the stay. I never made the reservation and when I called the number in the letter they refe4red me to another number where I left a message. I have notified my credit card company to reject any charges from that location as being bogus. While the first encounter with Bluegrass was quite plesant - this harassment is over the top. *** and dishonest busniness propr5ietors are very kind words.

I live in MB and this company is a boiler room type operation, they are very shady and you need to beware. These types of companies have been around resort towns for years, be careful when in MB.

I understand what you're saying, James: because they made you move, you had to be OUT of your previous night's room by 10AM like guests who were checking out completely, but had nowhere to put all your stuff between check-out and check-in. Right?

That's ridiculous, and I'm sorry it happened to you. In my own travel experiences, anytime the hotel/resort has required us to change rooms, they've offered to hold our luggage securely in the office, in the interim.

It's simple courtesy and customer service, regardless of WHY they're asking you to switch. No matter how many people post comments about the impossibility of giving you new rooms immediately (which is true), the important part is that the staff blew it and you weren't treated right.
