We signed up for a few different raffle "getaways" at a children's expo in February. This particular one we paid a discounted price and were aware was a time share or something. We just came home from a BlueGreen presentation. We did not purchase and as someone...

When you purchased the discounted trip the representitive should have explained a little better that the discounted price was so that you can experience the tour of the resort; an that the 99.00 would be for the three days and 2 nights. Also that you would be staying at one of the three hotels that is used by the resort.

If you wanted to stay at the resort itself then you could have upgraded and pay the additional fee.

It is really not the resort's fault. It is the reps' fault for not explaining what you get for that price better.

Bluegreen Resorts in Livingston, New Jersey - Would not take no for an answer

My husband and I were in Charleston SC. We had a great time and the city was beautiful. When it came time for our appointment with Blue Green they kept us longer than the 90 minutes. Also, this was our second time using Blue Green on a "Sampler Pack" It was $1000.00. We still have some points on it. Anyway the sales woman just would not take no for an answer and then called in some guy. He wanted to know what we could afford and try to get us to make monthly payments. I finally stood up and said we are just not going to do this. That is the only way we got out of there!!!

I think if you do get round to reading what they gave you it does say you will not be staying at the resort but in a hotel, well that is what was on ours last Sept.

We did not pay the extra to stay at the resort

Blue Green Resorts called us and told us all about their resorts. They told us that we would get a gift card to Bass Pro shop when we went on the tour. We agreed to go and paid the $99.00. When they called back to schedule our tour, they asked some more questions,...

You people have to be kidding me. I just Google'd Blue-Green because I've considered marketing from them, and from the complaints I see, You people are a joke.

It just goes to show you why they call you people Tour-ons. Clearly this company would not be highly rated for their pricing on Wall Street if they were truly devious. I won't name the many I know that are devious, but I will tell you this, YOU lucked out to buy from Blue-Green IF you actually wanted Timeshare... Truly Timeshare isn't a great option for most, however YOU are to blame if YOU signed the papers.

...and for those of you wishing to sling the Bible around, all 4 gospels state to throw the first stone IF YOU are without sin or in this case Blame. No company is responsible for your Bills, YOU ARE...

Here's the basic run down of what my husband and I were told during our Bluegreen presentation. (If you can believe it, I've shortened this by a lot) We were told how Bluegreen was a great investment. (A timeshare cannot be legally advertised as an...

Be careful folks a lot of these complaint boards are setup by people who want to spook you so you'll be frightened so much that you'll want out of your timeshare, points, whatever. Truth is these are scammers that want to take your money for a promise to sell, buy etc.

or in generally get out of your contract. Don't believe it, it's a scam. If you travel use your timeshare, if you don't, don't buy one. Everything you do costs money, the Goverment scams you everyday, yet you give them nearly half your wages.

When I go on vacation, I have people who want to give me cash, trips, etc to take a timeshare presentation, I don't do it, I am on vacation, why wast my valuable vacation time. I don't go much but when I do, I'm not wasting my day on that.

To you timeshare guys, I see the value in your product if I was younger, but I'm 67, doesn't make sense or even if I spent $5000 a year going places, but I don't - so leave me alone.

Here's a hint. The easiest way to keep someone from stealing your money is DON'T GIVE IT TO THEM!

You can't give a thief your money and then expect people to feel bad for you when they won't give it back. Grow up.

Bluegreen is the single most unethical, immoral, and despicable company in business today. Don't be fooled.
