So, I filled out this random door prize entry thing for many different prizes (including Blue-green) at a local show in Maryland back a couple weeks ago. Blue-green called me tonight to tell me that I was a winner amongst the thousands of people that submitted an...

We had a bad experience with Bluegreen, Wilderness Club and Big Cedar. In their sales pitch they bold face lied, noted false info on back of presentation documents, refused to honor promises.

These people are a den of theives from the top of the orginazation to the bottom. That includes bass pro, Jonny Morris and all of the people protecting them.

Bluegreen Resorts in San Jose, California - Declined refund because written letter was 3 days late

This was the worst experience ever! I decided not to take advantage of the company's offer (wait...i mean they charged me $165 for 2 nights rooms) and they informed me I could only receive a refund with a written letter. My letter was 3 days late...any I was told there was no way to ever get my money back. They actually didn't care if I ever took my trip but would never refund my money. I talked to the highest supervisors and all I got was no...no...no. I would never do business with this company. Remember, most time-share companies will provide you FREE rooms to tour, never pay for something up front.

Lord Mankinholes says "seems you were only after a cheap stay"

Hey genius, THAT's exactly what they try to sell you in the Bass Pro Shops-a cheap stay! Why else would anyone pay to get sold to?!

How many times have you worked this scam since you seem to know that "most Timeshare companies provide a FREE room to tour"

Bluegreen Resorts in Gloucester, Massachusetts - BLUEGREEN REWARDS CARD

I have a bluegreen rewards card but when I tried to use it the transaction was declined. When I called I was told the reason I could not use the card was because the zip code was incorrect but the customer service representative could not change - upper mgmt would have to - just a ploy to try to get out of honoring the card. I was told someone would call me within the hour but that never happened. Bluegreen sales reps are nothing but liars. Don't fall for their ***!!!! I intend to call them everyday until something is resolved.

I also won one of these vacations and it has been presented to me as a free vacation package including roundtrip airfare for two and hotel accomadations included for two. I'm supposed to go to the presentation today, but am not sure it's worth it if this is the way they treat people.

I'm expecting that they honor their word, which is why I would be willing to sit through their presentation even knowing that I have no interest in buying into their vacation packages.

I was told on the phone that all I have to do is go to it, I don't have to buy anything (I asked) and this vacation package would be free. If there's no airfare included, they lied.

I am a Silver Owner with Blue Green.

Laurel Crest is toward the bottom of my list... We requested a non-smoking facility.

Our room was definitely previously smoked in, was very dank and musty and to top it off we bagged over a dozen fleas in a baggy to take to the front desk. No apologies. They said they would send an exterminator over within a hour or two. What???

Give me another room.

Now if you ever unpacked for a week, repacked and had to unpack three floors up, there should have been some kind of apology or even refund, consolation certificate or a complimentary mint. I just came from the Cliff's facility. Wow A1!

Big Cedar last year was really good too. Don't go to Laurel Crest.

Bluegreen Resorts in Orlando, Florida - Blue Green is awesome!

I have been an owner for ten years. I thin anyone who thinks they are lying should really just read. You know when your booking the vacation there is going to be a timeshare. You know when you buy your buying a SHARE your not buying the whole house. You know you have to maintain your house and you know as well as I do your not buying to rent. USE COMMON SENSE. They don't lie, you just choose to assume what you guys want. Blue Green has been great to our family and friends for years. Wise up, grow up, wake up! and go on vacation...

I have been an owner since 2002. I agree that you are not told every thing upfront and recording the sales presentation is an excellent idea.

Dont buy based on the extraneous offerings but buy based on using the points every year. I am still a satisfied bluegreen owner but am starting to get concerned with the increasing maintenance fees.

Mr. Mateo, I would disagree that you don't get lied to by the Blu Green sales staff.

I have been through 4 different sales presentations and in each one the sales rep either out right lied or did not tell the complete truth. Each time I was given "bonus points" and RCI Free weeks. What wasn't told to me was that both were restricted. I wans't given them until the next day to be able to read them.

When I originally bought with Blue Green, I bought 16,000 points every 2 years. I was told by the sales rep that the points were unrestricted for each of the 2 yrs which is not correct. This is just one of many such lies I have been told. The Blue Green plan is a good one and could be sold wihtout the lies and gimmicks.

I have owned for 3 yrs and have enjoyed using my now 11,000 annual points. My best suggestion is to make sure that everything is put in writting that your sales rep tells you and a digital recorded put on the table in front of them helps.

Bluegreen Resorts

I have read a LOT of complaints about Bluegreen Resorts. My husband and I went there several years ago and chose to sign up. Unfortunately we have not been good about using it. In fact, we have never used it. At this point, we are in full ownership of the deed/points (8000 a year.) All I want is to sell it. We thought the concept was fantastic. It just doesn't mesh with our vacation schedules. The upsetting part of this whole thing is in the resale. I want to sell it and just not be the owner anymore. I don't want to continue to pay on something we don't use. If anyone has solid and REAL advice on how to sell it without getting scammed, I'd like to know. If anyone has had success with donating theirs, I'd like to hear about how to do that authentically. Thank you!!

I am associated with a company that helps people get rid of their timeshares. The site can be viewed at www.donewithtime.com.

We dont sell timeshares, you wont or get any money for them. We just relieve you of all future financial obligation.

We have been in business for 11 years giving timeshare owners some relief from the trap that they get themselves caught in. Our office number is 417-334-0892 if you have any questions.

I have not paid the maintenance fees this year, so it would have to be paid first. I don't want it to go against me, but I knew we wouldn't be using it.

I would be willing to talk with you in private if you're serious about it. I really do think it's a great concept; it just didn't work for our family.

What do you want for it? Do you owe any back Maintenance Fees?

I maybe interested or I could give you some advice. Do not ever list with someone that wants more than $50 up front to list it.

We purchased the Sampler in Vegas as we wanted to go to New Orleans, the sales person said it was under construction and would be available in a couple of months. Six months later, we are told that New Orleans will NEVER be available, we bought specifically for that resort.

We feel we were lied to, for good reason, this was a HORRIBLE decision to buy and we will NOT be doing business with Bluegreen after the Sampler ends, TRUST ME!!!! They are crooks.
