Bluegreen Resorts in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - Quick Lie

I was going to attempt a BlueGreen presentation in Minneapolis, Mn. I wanted to go during August 30th-Sept 1st and the sell person told me that the days were available and that she booked them. The sells person gave me a conformation number after taking my debit care info, and told me to give the conformation number to the person at the Radison hotel. I called right away, and there was no information in the computer regarding my reservation. I called the next day and there was still no information in the computer regarding my reservation. The person told me that sells person never enter any information regarding my reservation and that she was completely booked during those days. I asked for a refund, and I was told that I should get it within 3-5 days.

Bluegreen resorts are conartists

they offer you free airline tickets(if you stay 7 days at a hotel of their choice that run $100-300 per night) they offer you free hotel stays again at hotels of their choice $$$$. free dinner tickets- at expensive restaurants-usually $10 or $20 off at some restaurant far away- by the time you get there it was'nt worth it in gas.... and lastly you sit through a boring 2-3 hour deal where they *** you into buying a *** timeshare! dont do it-i decided to give the trial membership a try and by the time i decided to cancel it they were complete jerks about it- i had to pay $16.00 to send my cancel request to boca raton florida and now they want to keep some of my deposit for some dumb book that they gave me at the tour- its not worth it people....it is a 100% scam.

I'm so sorry these people are calling you ***. Bluegreen has a high pressure sales force, and I think their tactics are suspect.

I attended a presentation and chose not to buy, which is a valid decision--this plan is not for everyone. I'm sorry you were roped in.

You are a complete ***! Did you buy your last car without reading the contract?

How about your home? No, your too *** to be a home owner.

Did you really think it was something for nothing? :cry

The only scam is worked by people like yourselves and I am sorry to say

yes you are better out of it .

Lets have owners who read the contract who know what they are buying and will pay the MF in other words the opposite to you.

Bluegreen Resorts in Springfield, Missouri - Not everyone who tours timeshares are mooches....

My husband and I toured several timeshares, before we decided to buy. Not because we are mooches, but because we are wise investors. Only an *** buys something sight unseen. It is always wise to check out anything before you buy it, especially large purchase items. The timeshare industry plays the odds with about a 1/3 of the people who walk through their doors becoming owners. It is a cost-effective advertising ploy that benefits both parties. We do currently own a timeshare and feel that after seeing what is out there, we made an informed decision. Thank you.

Bluegreen's sales methods are unnecessarily high-pressure and overall their customer service is well below standards. If you are considering sitting through one of their boiler room pitches, note the time that you arrived and leave.

Someone should purchase bluegreen sales people a watch. While I wouldn't say Bluegreen is a scam, this is one of those painful life lessons where buyer must beware because, candidly, Bluegreen is in it for the money.

I don't fault them for the business but point with serious disdain at their ethics and business practices. Think twice before attending this, or any, timeshare presentation.

Most Time Share companies have a policy that if you don't buy now you can't do related tour for six months. They cite the 72 hour right to cancel as the reason you can't "Think about it".

They are so afraid of you "shopping" and they don't want to loose you to a better salesman someplace else. Sounds like car salesmen? You bet, same deal except I get to test drive my car and don't have to hope it's available because they continue to use it for a demo after I bought it. My timeshare was great because the board was made up of owners who used it for their personal vacation plans.

Then the Corporation was taken over and the marketing dept. started hoarding units for promotions.

Why do I want more members when I can't get the resort I want when I want it. I am tired of getting offered a hotel room size unit in Clevland when what I wanted was a Ocean View unit in Kaanapali, Maui.

Yes, but the problem is the high pressure sales tactics by many timeshare operators, Bluegreen in particular. I attended a presentation, and I was very interested in what they had to offer--but there was no way in *** I was going to make a decision that day.

But that was their only offer--that day or no way. How are you supposed to make an informed decision that way?

Glad you made the right choice for you.

You are one of the few people (that have posted on here), that have sat down and worked out what is best for you and also done your homework I hope you enjoy your timeshare for many years to come.

The middle of this week my husband and I attended a Bluegreen Sales pitch for a timeshare in TN. We were nabbed by Bass Pro and paid a $59 fee to

attend..the 90 minute meeting to learn

about Bluegreen timeshare. We were

told when we did this we would

recieve two $25 gift certificates to Bass Pro and recoup $50 . Since we had never attended a timeshare meeting and had family members out

of state that were pleased with theirs our desire look into it was sincere..and felt we had paid for a service. So we set up the appointment 3 months later and were excited about the prospect of visiting

the Smokey Mountains and possibly getting our years of dream vacations started. The 90 minute presentation was informative, and eye opening. The people were very inquizative to find out all they could about us..and seemed sincere enough. After the 90 minute presentation we were taken to a table in another room with a representative..given a tour ..and then

they wanted us to make an immediate decision to buy into an extremely expensive timeshare package of $450/mo for 10 years.. after our eyes about popped out of our heads..and we declined..the pressure continued. We were then offered the Sampler package which was more enticing...but by then we were very untrusting,.We decline their offers, but were told we would never beable to buy into their timeshare and recieve the same offer if we declined that day. To us a major purchase such as this....needs to be well thought decision. and only wise people and decent honest companys allow you time to make those decisons..so Bluegreen buyers "BEWARE"

I do vacation once a year but you have to book a year in advance to get what you want!! Do the math... At $245.00 a month and over $1000.00 maintenance fees.. That is a freakin expensive one week vacation!!

The interest on these mortgages are sky high and you CANT give it back & wLk awY or they ruin your credit!! No more!!!

Bluegreen Resorts in Washington, District Of Columbia - Blue Green-*** company

I was conned into a trip through Blue Green Resorts. They put us up in a dump and then made us sit through a 3 hour presentation and be shuffled around like cattle. They said the presentation would only be 2 hours and then took up most of our day...our vacation! They use unprofessional and muscle-arming sales practices by shuffling you through multiple sales people who all pressure you into buying. The presenter actually ended his story about a family who's kid who died and their favorite memory was the one family vacation they took. He went on to say how you didn't want to be the parents who never took their family on a vacation and no memories. This was not only disturbing but made me completely turned off by their tactics and sales staff. *** There are much better travel organizations to join and don't cost such an absurd amount of money.

I agree, They are worst company of the kind. Our "presenter" told the same story but the person who died, was his marines commander, whose family was so thankful to them...

They are primitive *** artists. Since I realized who is in front of me, I was playing along to figure out more about them. Their vacation locations are worst of the bunch, always in middle of nowhere. Those who were conned into it, are trying to sell it all around the web and rent it for as little as $250 per week.

The presentation is disgusting, full of lies and example of *** artistry. They presenters are super cheap (both in content and appearance). They questions and answers are standard and often so ill conceived that it is hilarious.

Total ***.

I pity those who was conned into it. I pity those thugs who work for it.

Bluegreen Resorts in Elizabethtown, Kentucky - Inconsiderate management

Ten days after my husband and I purchased the sampler points, his company laid off 300 employees. When I called Bluegreen to cancel my sampler points(which is written in the outline as legal) I was informed that I had missed the daily cutoff time. I asked to speak with a manager and he laughed at me and said "oh well times are tough, you are going to need a vacation ha! ha!. I then tried to proceed up the chain of command in management only to again receive sarcastic comments! I will never purchase nor will I recommend a BlueGreen Timeshare to anyone I consider a friend!!!
