Admit it, you only went on the tour to get your free tickets. You were probably put up in a local hotel for $50 (The resort is for members, not mooches), and now you're pissed off because you're not at the resort. Maybe you purchased a sampler program and were...

Bluegreen Resorts in Mechanicsville, Maryland - Love Bluegreen!

I own a timeshare in Florida. I have never been there, but have been to others. They have treated me with respect and dignity each time. I hear all these bad things about them, but I really enjoy using their amenities and they have lovely cabins, condo's and hotel rooms. I'll be a repeat customer of theirs as long as I live. I had a problem with the AC one time and they moved us into another cabin. We never had to lift a finger. Thanks Bluegreen Employees for making me feel at home. I'll be back very soon. Take care and Happy Trails!

Bluegreen Resorts in Greenville, South Carolina - Lied from the beginning

I booked a time share tour with BLUEGREEN in Atlanta Georgia, and it was for Myrtle Beach SC. Before I booked it I told them that the only way I would put up the 50.00 deposit was if I was guaranteed to get a suite or a condo due to a very loud snorer in the family. They assured me that I would and even got their laptop out and was showing me the place I would be staying at and the floor plan. When I called to confirm the dates, they said that they didn't even use the place that I was told I would be staying at. A red flag went off, but I pursued. Then when I called to book an extra night I was told I would be staying in a regular hotel room. I called a rep for BLUEGREEN back & she said that I was going to be in a condo or suite. I called the actual place I was staying at and he said they didn't even have condos or suites. I canceled my package and vowed to never use BLUEGREEN again!I was lied to from the beginning! Would not tell anyone to tour with them!!!

I also had a bad experience with a BlueGreen experience in Pigeon Forge. I was transferred to several different people who kept promising what they never delivered. I also cancelled my BlueGreen package because no one knew what they were doing.

First of all, we were promised that the tour would only be 90-120 mintues when they kept us there for three hours! Secondly, they began their presentation by saying that "if you like what you see and it is affordable, then we would be happy to have you join our...

We are already owners have been for 13 years. Each resort we go to, they try to get us to attend an 'owner update'.

the owner update is an attempt to upsell us additional points (not to share resort updates). So, if the enticement is right (free movie tickets, money, restaurant certificates or free theme park tickets), my husband and I will give them 90 minutes of our time. We advise the sales person that we are only giving him 90 minutes and we will leave in 90 minutes. they don't believe us.

at the 90 minute mark we ask for our freebies and leave. don't give into the pressue.

they are there to pressure you into buying! if you're not interested in buying...don't.

Bluegreen Resorts in Washington, District Of Columbia - BLUEGREEN SUCKS!

BUYER BEWARE! AS THEY FILL YOU FULL OF BS AND BULL ON YOUR DREAM VACATIONS, THEY STAB YOU WITH AN UNTALKED ABOUT 800 DOLLAR INITIAL ANNUAL BILL BEFORE YOU EVEN USE IT! YOU CAN TAKE AN AWESOME VACATION FOR WHAT THEY STEAL FROM YOU! TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTING. MUCH BETTER TO SAVE YOUR CASH AND FIND A REASONABLE VACATION SPOT ON YOUR OWN THAN TO SEND MONEY TO THESE FACELESS WOLVES. THEY ALSO TALKED OF A RED, WHITE, AND BLUE PROGRAM FOR MILITARY ONLY SPECIALS, I RAN INTO A CIVILIAN FRIEND WHO GOT EXACTLY THE SAME DEAL, THEY PLOY YOU ON RENTING YOUR WEEK FOR A HUGE MONEYMAKER AT DAYTONA FOR BIKE WEEK AND WHISPER NOT TO TELL, EVERYONE GETS THE SAME SPEECH, VERY DISSAPOINTING! I HOPE THE COMPLAINTS PILE UP THROUGH THE ROOF TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND BEYOND! MARK WILLIAMS, U.S. AIR FORCE

We just got back from Gatlinburg, and a 3 and a half hour Bluegreen Tour. This is the third and last time I'll waist my time listening to timeshare thieves. We were chosen out of the group for a special film presentation, and then after visiting a unit, we still...

OK, here is my story. My wife and I went on their tour and for what its worth thought that it was a good deal to get into. After some thought, 45 minutes of financial consulting with my wife, we agreed to a deal with Bluegreen at MountainLoft Resorts in Gatlinburg, TN...

I recently vistited Charleston, SC and was approached on the street to attend a Bluegreen presentation. It didn't take but three questions for me to determine the sales person was very unprofessional.

You just don't swear within the first two minutes of a "pitch," okay? When a second Bluegreen representative (Manager, I guess?) joined the conversation, (probably to rescue the salesman) he was much more smooth in his delivery but it was not long before I could feel the pressure starting. I am pleased to say that I walked away from that train wreck.

Especially now that I have read about your experiences. Thank you for sharing and confirming that I didn't waste my money or, more importantly, my time on Bluegreen.

I have worked with the company for over 4 years and the way they treat their employees are terrible. You start making 9.oo hour and then you never get a raise. The trip is a fake because they dont tell you all the details over the phone like you have to pay your taxes...

I worked for Bluegreen for three years and two months. I loved my job, I worked in a store and I was not scamming anyone.

We didn't have these extra fees she was talking about, I believe she was selling a different package and it is her job to let the buyers know what will cost them more money.

I did, I sold the package honestly and still lost my job. I am not bitter, when a door closes a window opens and to me it will be a window of opportunity!

I stayed in a wonder bluegreen resort at myrtle beach, Had a wonderful time and the place was awesome. I loved it and if you want to pay me for my comment that will be okay too.

I plan on going again soon. It was beautiful. I felt very comfortable and my kids and family had such a nice time everytime we left to go somewhere we were happy to go back to our room and swim and cook out.

i have recommended this place to all of my friends and family. :) :) :)

Bluegreen Resorts in Kalamazoo, Michigan - Happy with Blue Green

We've been owners for 4 years now. I think a lot of these complaints are written by people with little common sense. We have 10,000 points a year, but we fully understand that this is not enough to get a week during peak season. It does get us time during our spring break and certain parts of the summer at places that are very nice. We have the Blue Green credit card that pays off our maintenance fees and dues just for using it. I guess if you can't even figure out the spell check on this site, you shouldn't have bought a time share.

What some people should understand is that not everyone gets as good a deal as others, and it is not good to speak badly of others just because they spelled a few words incorrectly. That is petty and childish.

This site is for people to voice their opinions, and obviously you are one of the few people who seem to have gotten a great package from Blue Green resorts. Be thankful.
