Bluegreen knew what my income was and let me sign up. Now I can't get out of this. They told me that this wasn't a timeshare. I found out a month later this wasn't true. I have several companies that want to buy my timeshare, but Bluegreen said that I...

Under no circumstances should you blame BG for purchasing something you cannot afford. Grow up!

Take responsibility! I am pretty sure they did not have a gun to your head.

Bluegreen Resorts in Lancaster, South Carolina - Total Scam

I have had a membership for 3 years and I have never been able to vacation when I want. Everything that was promised in the presentation has proven to be a complete lie. Stay as far away from this company as possible. The fees that they charge add up to $1200 per year not counting the payments for the property that you purchased. You can save your money and stay at a compairable hotel for one tenth of the price that you will pay with Blue Green Resorts. If you enjoy being lied to and have money to waste then you might like this resort.

Bluegreen Resorts in Roanoke, Virginia - Never had an issue with Bluegreen

My wife and I have owned with Bluegreen for about 6-7 years, and I must say we have been more than pleased. Reservations have never been an issue. Yes, you may not get your first choice, but being flexible is key. Also, we don't try to book a week at a time, we break our trips up in to long weekends throughout the year, and still we roll points over yearly. We have upgraded once, and agreed to update again, but chnaged our minds after we got home. Well, it just took one phone call and one written statement to cancel the upgrade with no questions asked. Recently, we had to cancel the day before because I had to have emergency surgery and we were able to reschedule for about a month later with no issues whatsoever. Same resort and everything. The reps we speak with are always very helpful and courteous. I would give my experience with Bluegreen an 8.5 out of 10. And the only reason I say 8.5 is because the maintenance fees are pretty steep. But you know what? They even let us break those out in to three separate payments to pay it off. Bluegreen is great!

Bluegreen Resorts in Houston, Texas - Wish me luck...

This is the first time I will be attending a presentation by Bluegreen and after reading all your comments, I regret agreeing to go on this "cheap" trip to Williamsburg, VA. I got a call a few months ago from them telling me I had won 2 US trips and 1 out of the country for only $500, at the time I thought it was a great deal. I've had so much trouble trying to book my trips. I wanted to take the international trip first and when I spoke with the representative, she said my dates were confirmed and I could buy my plane tickets. I told her I needed confirmation in writing. After bugging her for a whole week, she finally told me that the dates were not confirmed and that I didn't qualify for that particular trip out of the country because I didn't meet the min. age. WHAT? I was never told there was a min. age? I tried to get my $500 back, but they told me I couldn't. So now, I'm planning to at least take advantage of my 2 US trips. My intention is NOT to buy it.....but I'm scared of them intimidating me.....!!! Wish me luck! I will follow up after the trip.

We were wondering if there are any other Minnesota residents that have been scammed by Bluegreen Resorts regarding their timeshares and/or foreclosure process. We need a group of people to pursue with the MN Atty General's Office, as they cannot do anything for an...

Looking to file a class action law suit against Bluegreen. We are from Minnesota and just purchased our timeshare in July of 2013 from Christmas Mountain in Wisconsin (by Wisconsin Dells).

A month later we find out that everything they promised us was lies. Promised us 8% interested rate, its 24.99%. Promised us 5,000 points will bring us anywhere in the world for a week, a lie. Told us 5,000 points would bring us on a 1 week cruise to Alaska, a lie.

Told us they would buy it back for $39, another lie. They said that their resorts are available throughout the year but the ones we are interested in are all booked up. I haven't looked into the free cruise they gave us but I've heard that its going to cost over $700 per person. I am not happy with all of their broken promises and lies.

I want a refund. I have filed a complaint with BBB and with Bluegreen. I received a phone call today from Bluegreen that there is no evidence that I was lied to. It is all "he said she said" and that there is no way I am getting a refund from them.

I'm fed up and ready to do whatever it takes to get my refund and get the word out to EVERYONE that Bluegreen is a scam.

Hey Not True, Maybe you should find a real job and quit being a BlueGreen jockey. The ship is going down, go to school, get an education and a real job. BlueGreen is an absolute rip off scam.

Bluegreen Resorts in Grand Rapids, Michigan - BlueGreen charged us double what they said it would cost

We stayed at BlueGreen resorts at Boyne Mountain with the catch that we had to listen to their sales pitch. When we called to make the reservation they said we would be staying in a hotel in another town. We told her that we were told we could stay at the resort. She said that would cost an extra $50 dollars and we agreed that would be ok. When we got our bank statement the next month it showed that they charged us $100. We called to tell them they overcharged us but they said they didn't overcharge us because they charge $50 per night and we stayed two nights. They did not tell us $50 per night when we made the reservations though. We would not have stayed there because we really can't afford that. But they will not honor the price that we were told over the phone. To me that is stealing! To top it off, the last night that we stayed there we found out that we were sharing our room with cockroaches!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Bluegreen Resorts in Stone Mountain, Georgia - Bluegreen works for us

we have been with bluegreen for over a year, had four vacations, all have bben great!!!!!!!!. you sometimes can not always get your first choice. try to be flexible, midweek breaks make your points go two or three times further. make sure you can travel at different times duing the year, as you may have trouble if you can only do school vacation times. i think bluegreen is more for adults with no children who are more flexible. We like the points system where you are not tied to a fixed week or have to do exchanges colin lawrenceville GA

Bluegreen Resorts in Meriden, Connecticut - Blue green won't return our money!

We vistited bluegreen resort at Hershey Pa. after 2 hours of promises we bought in, For 1200 points and it only cost us $200. down payment and $360. a month for six months. That was the sevice fee all we had to do was pay extras for are trips. We were going to get a cruise and a yacht trip for a week and 3 free vactions with R.I.C resorts, a deed in are names for a villia in the fountain hotel in Orlando FL. Plus a bunch of other things and 200 extra points per vaction. But when we got home. we got a call that they losted are bank reciptes and would'nt be able to get the nexts payment from the bank. So after think about how good everything was going to be I started to look into the promises they made which by the way turn out to be as hard as traveling on 1-95 @ rush hour we dicide not to send them are info again. because after all that was personal info that just up and walked away. we also asked them to return are money since we had 30 days to change are minds but we have yet to recive any money back and that was last july. I guess the saying is true if it sounds to good it more than likely is.
