Miffed very simple ensure that you are full paid up and you ownership is debt free then put up on ebay pay the transfer costs and somebody will take it off your hands.

All timeshares no matter who the developer is or was are not selling.

If people are takeing hits of thousands of $$ on their homes then nobody is going to pay $$$ for resale timeshare.

Even in the boom times nobody should have bought any kind of timeshare as a $$$ investment it does not and never as worked like that right from the first timeshare in France

Bluegreen Resorts in Syracuse, Indiana - Bluegreen resort

we bought a vacation package with bluegreen resorts and I knew that it was to let them try to sell time sharing this is some thing my husband and I have though about for a long time is to find more out and maybe buying a time shareor at least look into it. I paid for it and they said I could cancel with in 3 bus. days for a full refund. I cancelled with in my 3 days now I have sent them certified letters that they have signed for, tried to call with no luck but can't get them to return money.

Wow...looks like BG has hired more people to insult victims. Really happy that I cancelled.

Do you even speak English. This is some of the worst English I have ever read.

If you bought this thru a Bass Pro....go back in....get the manager of the store....then have him go with you to the BG kiosk and confront the scammers directly. This usually works.

If you bought this thru a Bass Pro go back in and get the store manager to go with you to confront the BG scammers. This usually works.....be grateful that you didn't fall victim to the big timeshare scam. That is much more difficult to resolve.

I was contacted yesterday from a phone number in Brooklyn, NY which belongs to a private party. The women told me I won a vacation/cruise deal to Orlando.

She said that I needed 249.00 for each person, 498.00 total and that we could bring 1 or 2 extra people at no charge.

She said that my debit card would be fine. She is calling back tonight, I am thinking phone scam, anyone else with this story?

Bluegreen Resorts in Herndon, Virginia - Bluegreen is the BEST vacation program!!!!Dont like to bitter people who LOVE to complain!!

Update by user Mar 16, 2011

DONT LISTEN TO BITTER PEOPLE WHO LOVE TO COMPLAIN!!!!

Original review posted by user Mar 16, 2011

Bluegreen is an amazing company!! I have owned a relatively small package 6000 points and I have ALWAYS been able to book wherever I wanted to go. We have traveled extensively with the program and there is no way we would have been able to travel that much without membership!!! Dont like to bitter individuals who love to complain about everything!!!!!!Some people will try to find everything and anything to complain about...they deserve to stay in the MOTEL 6!!! At Bluegreen you get 5 star resorts for LIFE!!!!I would encourage everyone to buy a package and start living life better.

bv

you just dont get it to you darling.

Just because you are *** and unable to imagine how anyone can get it to work does not mean that they cant, there are many more very happy owners than you could imagine lovey.

I will leave you with one thought my darlings, if no owners can ever make a reservation then who is using those very nice units that belong to me and you.

The answer my friend is (not blowing in the wind) but all of the happy owners you all wish you could be.

and with that my darlings Miss Piggy will sign off and start packing her bags for her next Bluegreen Vacation.

How much were you paid by Bluegreen to make your comments? NO timeshare is EVER a good deal because you have no say in the control of costs or rules changes. You pay or they will ruin your credit!

BLUEGREEN is more capitalistic than most and only does what benefits them - not their owners!!!

We were told at BassPro that this would be a 90 minute presentation. No big deal, so we went. After 3 horrible hours of high pressure salesmen with plastered on smiles, we had to nearly be rude. Told them over 10 times that we did not want or need it. We truly felt...

Bluegreen Resorts in Westwood, California - I am pissed also

We were sold package over the phone. I made sure I could bring my dog. When they called to confirm reservation they stated I could not bring my dog and I could not get a refund. They had no alternatives except I could board my dog at a doggie resort. I wanted a mini vacation instead I got a very stressful expensive lesson to be learned. I hope if people see this they will not go to the bluegreen resorts. I also called the people who sold package and they will not take my calls. I also hope that they do not purchase a package because these people lie about what you get.

Almost all of the Bluegreen Resorts I have been to have been nice. A couple of things to watch out for at Christmas Mtn.

One, if you stay in one of the campground rooms, they are awful. Dont accept that lodging. The other thing is we had a heck of a time in the winter staying in one of the lodges on a hill. I had to park on a snowy hill and my car slid all over.

It was awful. Bluegreen has better properties than some of the other timeshare companies!!

I read here that Bluegreen Resorts rents rooms to the public. We just did a tour of one of their Myrtle Beach resorts on 6/6/08, and the saleman told us all of the guests that we saw were owners and they do not rent to the public. We could not afford their vacation...

Viking, way to go. I hope everyone who comes this site reads your comments.

I used to sell the mini-vaca in Destin many years ago and while some people were like you, most wanted the "deal" but were scared to death of the sales person. I would try to explain to them to just say no and then enjoy the trip.

I honestly could not believe how terrified people were of the time-share presentation so I salute you. Write a book and I will buy the first copy.

I work for Bluegreen, and, yes, we're trained to sell a product to unsuspecting consumers. We will do whatever is necessary to accomplish our goal, which is to sign up customers so that we can collect huge sums of money on maintenance fees and club dues.

We very often say whatever it takes to close the sale, because our contract has a provision that states whatever a salesman promises is non-binding, and that only the contract is legally binding. So, until *** people stop coming to our booths at trade shows, we will continue to take advantage of you all.
