My bf and I bought a package from Bass Pro on Black Friday 2015 for the stay of 4 nights 5 days anywhere in the booklet they had. We choose Vegas but then I switched it to St. Pete Florida! I scheduled it for the week of fourth of July in 2016 and it was perfect. We stayed at the PostCard Inn which is a beach front. Our stay was in a busy area of course because its right on the beach, hotels, tourist and it was a holiday. The PostCard Inn was a beach theme. It was not a luxury feel but that was okay with us! We are not picky at all. It was clean and right next to the beach so that was a PLUS! It was one car per room, if you have an extra car you have to pay $20 extra a day for parking there. Which we did and that was ok but parking is so tight/small space and busy. Anyway, we walked back of the hotel and there was a pool, a tiki bar, snack shack and of course the BEACH all in the back!!! It was awesome because you could drink in the pool or at the pool. They do have a small baby round pool and a big pool. Showers outside to rinse off and play area outside. It was a great stay honestly. Although we did spend fourth of July there it was busy and of course party animals at the bars! Do not go on a holiday just so it wont be busy :) The staff was all great! There is also a restaurant in the hotel. The only downfall we had was THE HOTEL'S AC DOES NOT COOL. It is hot as *** and humid in Florida and the AC was through a vent that barely cooled! The bathroom does NOT have an air vent so when you shower its humid in there! When we checked out we did have to pay the TAXES of the stay and it came out to be a little over $100 which we were told from a BlueGreen call center representative that taxes would be $8-$13 a day. Sucked but other than that we had a good time!


We arrived at the BlueGreen Welcome Center and we had to show our ID's, must have same address and our confirmation letter/code. We then reviewed our personal info. Finally, we were scheduled our meeting for the BlueGreen resort presentation.

We went back to our hotel and waited for the next day at noon. We checked in at the BlueGreen Welcome Center and walked across the street to the actual meeting where it was being held at. We check in there and again review our info and take a seat. We are all assigned a representative to take us to the presentation room. The guy talking at this presentation took about an hour and a half. Talked about the history of BlueGreen and what it is. But I didn't really understand the whole point of the POINTS they are trying to sell. That threw me off. Some of the other people there were disappointed because they were staying at an ugly motel and nowhere near the beach but I think that is because they scheduled their stay within months of the holiday. Anyway, the presentation was over and then we were all assigned a representative, he asked us questions and then took us on a mini tour of the hotel where they were trying to sell us a room. He was nice and generous we liked him. He then took us to the office where everything goes down as in sales. He was trying to sell us a resort at like 30-40 thousand! We declined, he kept going down in value. We didn't think this would be that expensive! Him and his coworker worked something out for our price range but my bf kept declining and honestly what threw us off is that the MAINTENANCE FEE was high and the FEES increase every year. The DEPOSIT was too HIGH! The POINTS were confusing to use! Too many fees overall. We didn't like that! They were pushy pushy pushy! We had to decline and we signed paperwork and we were promised the Carnival Cruise certificate for two and two Bass Pro gift cards of $25. Finally, we walked back to our hotel down the street and continued our stay!

This is for someone that is RICH and TRAVELS. We do not fit that criteria! LOL sadly! But I am very glad that we did not purchase any package with BlueGreen Vacation because there is too many COMPLAINTS coming from their members.
