We came across this resort while at Bass Pro Shops just after Christmas 2011. Since we have an RV, we were offered a 5 day/4 night package PLUS a bonus of $125 in Bass Pro Shop gift cards if we agreed to listen to an "approximately 90 minute presentation on the benefits of becoming a BlueGreen timeshare owner" during our stay.

We booked our stay not long after purchasing our package for Memorial Day Weekend 2012. We stayed from Friday to Tuesday and the weather was great!

We stayed in the RV section that was within walking distance of the general store, swimming pools and playground area. Our RV pad was clean and roomy. It had WiFi, power, water and sewer. The Weber gas grill and fire ring were a great addition too! The pools were great, well-maintained. They had a splash fountain area for the kids to play in, a couple of 3-foot deep pools that were warm (one hot, the other like bathwater) and two decent size swimming pools.

Since we were there over Memorial Day Weekend, the resort had several activities taking place around the pool area which caused there to be a lot of people hanging out. Our daughter would have spent all 5 days at the pool if we'd let her, but she also loved visiting with the horses. We tried our hands at fishing with no luck, but it was fun. There are also tennis courts, basketball, horseshoe pits and a fun miniature golf course (which we took advantage of!).

All the staff we met were very nice and helpful. The grounds and buildings seemed to be well maintained and clean. The pool next to the hotel is a hidden gem since most people go to the pools next to the general store.

We had our concerns about the "timeshare" sales pitch, but as promised, the marketing presentation was not high pressure and even after we said "no thank you" we still got our gift cards. The "approximately 90 minutes" was actually 2 hours and 45 minutes, which we thought was a bit long, but we are certainly well educated about the details of how this timeshare system works. Not for us, but it is perhaps a good deal for those who always like to stay in a resort for their vacations.
