I agree with other reviewers who did not understand that "2-nights at the Big Cedar Lodge" is really 2-nights at "a really nice hotel" (their words). When I realized what was going to happen, I followed their instructions and wrote a cancellation letter (which must be done within 30 days).
A rep called to ask why and, when I told her, she magically found a room for us on the grounds at Big Cedar. The room was beautiful, the grounds are astounding -- we had a great time. So, my advice is to hang tough when insisting on accommodations at the resort itself.
Now, I have no experience with the other Bluegreen resorts, but the folks in Missouri were very kind ... in the end!
