We were offered a 2 night stay for $69.00, plus free 3 to 5 day cruise tickets for two, with no purchase necessary. All we had to do was go to a 1 hour presentation and tour of the Blue Green Resort at St. Petersburg FL.
First, instead of letting us stay at the actual resort in St. Pete, they put us up in a Days Inn several miles away. You would think that if they wanted you to purchase a unit they would let you stay at the actual resort.
Secondly, the 1 hour presentation actually lasted 5 hours, due to the fact that once you said "no thanks" to the first sales agent, they passed you on to a multitude of other sales agent whom tried even harder to make you buy.
Finally got our voucher for the supposedly "free" cruise. We were told while at the presentation the only thing we had to pay were the taxes. When we called to make a reservation, we were told it would cost anywhere from $300 to $400 dollars per person, for a 3 day cruise with flip down bunk bed accommodations. We've taken 4 day cruises to the Bahamas for $189 each, with an ocean view room, regular queen bed, and all taxes and tips included.
We are truly glad we didn't purchase anything from Blue Green Resorts and we would adamantly advice everyone to stay away from this company
