We were skeptical about timeshares but thought that since Bass Pro Shops supported Bluegreen that they would at least be honest. We were wrong!
We bought a package based on lies. We were told that, as members, we could not only take "Premium Vacations", but we could also purchase discounted airfare and book discounted hotel stays outside of using our points. We specifically asked if that meant discounted more than Expedia, Travelocity, Kayak, Hotels.com or other discount travel sites. We were told yes.....it was a blatant lie.
So many other lies that we believed because they are associated with Bass Pro. They give you a 10 day period to back out, but you don't have access to the website for 30 days after signing up so you don't realize you've been scammed. Beware! We have tried to get out but so far no luck.
I am going to file complaints with BBB and also DBPR.
Also considering hiring an attorney. If anyone has any advice, it would be appreciated.
