We have owned a fixed week (34) lock-out 2 BR villa there since 1996. We go every year and enjoy the place.

However our reason for buying the lockout is that the owner (first Patton and later Bluegreen) allowed us to use only one side of the unit in week 34 then arrange for another week somewhere else in MountainLoft or another Bluegreen resort. After Bluegreen went to points they took away this priviledge.

Now we have to use both sides in week 34 and one usually lays idle. Thus our weekly maintenance fee ($700) now buys us only one week and we lose about $350 annually.

Monetary Loss: $350.
