We were sent a general release letter to sign and send back. Bluegreen stated in their letter to me that they will cancel my contract and refund my money. I pray this is true.

Looks like they are going to cancel my contract

Original review posted by user May 16, 2018

My wife and I purchased a 9000 point package on April 14 2018. On April 16 2018 we made the decision to cancel the contract.

I sent my notarized rescission letter to them on April 16 2018 by mail. They say they never received it. I have disputed my purchase with them thru American Express. I am retaining a lawyer today to take this to the next level.

Blue green is only interested in sales, Do NOT fall for their sales pitch.

You will never spend the amount they predict on vacations unless you are a multi millionaire. The 9000 point package was presented to us as a great deal and that we could stay at the places we wanted to vacation at. This is a complete lie. Most all of the places require many more points to be able to stay for more than 3 days, who takes a major vacation for 3 days?

No one its usually more like 5 to 7 days, anyway the package is useless until you build up more points or pay for more points. The yearly fees and taxes are never ending and go up each year. Bottom line is you cant use this package because its not enough points to book and rooms not available. But interesting enough I check some of the same resorts on trivago and the rooms were available.

They also tell you it can be willed to your children, It CANNOT.

I live 1 mile from the Bass Pro Shop where this Blue green offer was sold to me.

I now make it a point to go there each day and head off potential Blue green customers and tell them to stay away from this company. If you have read this far Please think twice before doing business with Blue green.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $13000.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Bluegreen Resorts Cons: Customer service, Were dishonest, Availability, Salesperson lied.

Location: 5500 Gulf Blvd, St Pete Beach, FL 33706, USA

I just did by priority mail with signature and it is at post office. they did not sign.

now I sent UPS with tracking but no signature and notarized so there is proof for me to go after them.

hopefully I won't have a problem. I am within the Fl law of 10 days

don't do what they say - sending it via mail. I sent my ltr via FED EX, they thought it was a check for $ payoff - it was my cancellation ltr - timeline dictated by law.

I did the same thing... cancel within the period allowed by law...

only I mailed a notarized letter (I used to be a notary) in the mail, realizing they could say they never got it by mail. I sent a second notarized letter (same day) requesting cancellation under So Carolina law only I did it via Express Mail (requiring a receipt to Fed Ex ). they HAD to acknowledge receipt. They thought the Fed Ex envelope was for a $ payoff check - fooled them and they signed for it.

they acknowledged cancellation ! they had to.
