A month ago I entered a drawing at my local mall to win a riding lawn mower. For the past several days I've been getting phone calls from a number I don't recognize and today I finally answered and was prepared to tell whoever it was to stop calling.
The guy on the phone tells me I'm a winner. I've won a 3 night stay for 4 at a resort of my choice on a list of great locations. But wait, there's more, I've also won a cruise for 2. The guy goes on and on.
He asks who I would take on my cruise and I say my mom. He says, oh you surprised me, that's what I did for my mom after I served 7 years in the Army. Meanwhile, during our entire conversation, I can hear other background calls taking place where people are clapping. Soon I realize that they are clapping every time someone gets suckered into pay $298 to register for some vacation that they supposedly won.
I'm researching Bluegreen Resorts while this guy thinks I've taken the bait.
Um, no! What a sketchy "company", pathetic really!
